Ever wish there was an easier way of creating components in Fusion? Well, there is! Take a look at this video to learn about creating components quickly:

Components are an integral part of Fusion. You should always try and create components instead of bodies as it significantly simplifies the design process.
Creating components can be confusing at times, especially when the new component appears in the wrong area of the browser. This occurs because the active component serves as the parent when a new component is created. In some cases, there is a need to create multiple components at the same level rather than as a nested structure (parent --> child --> sub-child --> sub-sub-child).
The tip I share in the video is to right-mouse-click in the browser at the level you want to create your new component and select New Component. This creates the new component at that level in your Browser structure.
In the images below, I right-clicked on the Hardware component under the End Cap Assembly which is under the Table Assembly and selected New Component. When I do this, you can see that the Parent is automatically selected as Hardware and the new component called Spring will be created under the Hardware component.

I really like using this method as it simplifies the component creation process. I no longer have to re-arrange components that were created under the wrong parent.
